How to Bring Some Stillness to Christmas

12/21/2016

"Still, still, still:
the night is calm and still.
The Christ-child in his crib lies sleeping,
angels round him watch are keeping.
Still, still, still:
the night is calm and still."

In these days as we draw close to Christmas, please take some moments of stillness. A few moments a couple of times a day to take some deep breaths and remember what all the hustle and bustle is about. Close your eyes. Recall the words, "Fear not, for I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all the people." This is what the angels say to us each day. Take that message inside of you. Let it be what you live and how you live it. This is the "Word made flesh". This is Emmanuel; God-with-us"!

See you Christmas Eve at 5:00 p.m. and Christmas morning at 10:30 a.m.(bring a Christmas gift that you have received for show and tell).
