Summer is officially here! Which means - I hope - for all of us some renewal and re-creation time. We are surrounded in this part of the world with abundant beauty and variety of landscape. Take your body in search of God this summer. Walk, bike, swim, ramble (as they say in the UK). Notice. Notice what is around you. Use your eyes and your ears, your skin and your nose. Even your tongue to taste the wonders as fresh produce become available in the local farmers markets and in your own garden. Every day let your body be aware of Creation. Find something new every day. And be grateful.
Beginning next week our weekly messages will be much shorter but remember to check it out to find the time and place of worship for the week. Multi point pastoral charges have been doing this for years - meeting in different churches at different times, often on a monthly rotation to accommodate all the different families who attend. Think of our summer schedule as an adventure. New opportunities to find God in a new place at a new time. God is always here. And there. And every place you go.
God bless you!
See you Sunday!
